I crowdsourced part of this page when I put out a call for cheesy pickup lines on Twitter, and Mike Hawthorne, way talented artist guy and person I’m friendly with, gave me a great one that worked just fine. And so, I present Charlotte and Blurstreak meeting at Abby and Mark’s wedding.

This is page forty, and now I’ve only got five pages to go. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am by this. I’m going to keep plugging away, and I’m hoping that I’ll have it done early next week. When I was walking to vote yesterday, I plotted out the rest of the jokes/beats for the remaining pages.

Now, all I have to do is draw them. And ink them. And color them. And letter them. Easy, right?
